With 15 years of experience, 169 doctors and nurses, the GVM Carint Center for Invasive Cardiology, Electrotherapy and Angiology in Poland is one of the leading GVM hospitals in Poland that provide treatment for 6103 patients per year. The cardiology wards offer a wide range of life-saving procedures in both interventional cardiology and elective surgeries.
Ostrowiec ÅšwiÄ™tokrzyski - is a town located in the ÅšwiÄ™tokrzyskie Voivodship, about 60 km from Kielce and less than 180 km from Warsaw and Rzeszów, from where it is accessible from the main international airports in about 2 hours.
The GVM Carint Medical Center offers highly advanced diagnosis and treatment in cardiology, vascular diseases and in urology, both in inpatient and outpatient care. The Group runs 5 cardiological treatment centers in south-eastern Poland. Center in Ostrowiec Åšw. has been operating since 2009 and is currently housed in a newly built building opened in 2016.

The hospital currently has a ward with 10 hospital beds in single and double rooms, which are dedicated to private treatments, and a post-operative ward with 3 fully equipped recovery rooms. The cardiology ward operating on the first floor of the building has 26 beds, of which 8 beds are the beds of the cardiological intensive care unit, equipped with cardio monitors with constant monitoring of vital functions. It boasts a Modern hemodynamics laboratory equipped with an angiography and an operating block with two sections: electrophysiology laboratory and for urological procedures.
The center has a qualified medical staff consisting of, among others: interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists and urologists. The building is located by a large and green area, near a forest, with access to fresh regenerative air, with convenient access and parking spaces for patients.

Urology

The range of services provided in the Center in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski in the field of urology includes the endoscopic procedures to remove stones from the kidneys, urinary tracts and bladder, the so-called RIRS and endoscopic removal of prostate adenoma using the HOLEP method.

The hospital is equipped with modern medical equipment from leading companies, including the latest Siemens Artis Zee angiograph, allowing for optimal imaging of the heart during procedures with the minimum dose of radiation for patients, the Siemens Cios Alpha c-arm used for electrocardiological and urological procedures and the holmium laser by Wolf and endourology equipment by Wolf and Olympus. Urological procedures are performed under general anesthesia with the assistance of an anesthesiologist.

Qualification for the performance and valuation of the service is based on medical indications for the procedure, qualifications and clinical assessment of the referring physician in consultation with the Center's doctor, and the individual valuation of the service is presented to the patient after taking into account the patient's special expectations regarding the treatment process and hospitalization.
